Louis Poulsen’s PH 3/2 Academy is a large pendant light consisting of three white opal glass shades and a chromed brass frame. With its generous diameter of 68 cm, PH 3/2 Academy is designed especially for spacious living rooms and halls. Launched in 2000, PH 3/2 Academy is a member of the PH lamp family based on a three-shade system developed in the 1920s by Poul Henningsen. The three-layered glass shade fills the room with glare-free light that is both soft and bright at the same time. This classic yet striking pendant lamp is made of hand-blown white opal glass shades, which have been sandblasted on the undersides to create unique illumination for various different spaces.
